Since opening Transformation, formerly Physique Transformation, in 2002, Barry has led the company to gain national recognition for its success stories in both weight loss and human performance. Barry holds a certification through the American Council on Exercise, and is also considered one of the top kettlebell coaches and practitioners in North Carolina. Barry is a former competitive athlete in football, baseball, basketball, soccer and wrestling. Combined with his athletic training and experiences, he has learned the art of his training from various influences from around the country and the world. Barry is also pursuing his Doctorate in Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health. A native of Rolesville, NC, Barry received his B.S. in biological sciences with a concentration in nutrition from North Carolina State University. Barry’s expertise has been critical as the Transformation team has created innovative programs to achieve sustained results. Through his development with Transformation, Barry has become one of the premiere fitness professionals in the country. Barry prides himself on the fact that he lives a healthy lifestyle. He has an "in order to teach it, you have to live it" attitude. A native of Masontown, PA, Barry earned his B.S. degree in criminal justice from Pennsylvania State University. He currently lives in Raleigh with his wife, Christi and their sons, Braydon and Paxton. Rick OsbornA native of Farmville, VA, Rick is a liberal arts graduate (B.A) from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Along with a background in art, design, music, ministry, counseling and writing, Rick pooled his skills to contribute to the overall design, editing and writing of The Anti-Estrogenic Diet book, published by North Atlantic Books, 2007. He currently works with Transformation, Inc. as a nutritional and fitness consultant, and marketing director. The remainder of his time consists of lifestyle coaching and spiritual counseling, as well as doing freelance marketing, graphic and web design projects, and itinerant music ministry. Much of his creative work you can now see on this blog website, ads and newsletters for the Organic Transformation Team. Rick is a licensed minister and holds nutritional certifications for both the Warrior Diet and the Anti-Estrogenic Diet, as well as for Controlled Fatigue Training. Furthermore, he is an accomplished singer and musician, having done numerous concerts throughout the southeast. |
